This is one of my very favorite bathrooms. It is the result of perfect design and nearly perfect execution. Laura and her husband own a very fine late 1800s brick Italianate home. This bathroom is one of two that were thoughtfully added to the south side of the home. Their tastes are eclectic without jeopardizing tradition. In this case, they chose crackle white subway tile and a hexagonal floor with a “greek key” border. The tub, sink, and dark walnut moldings anchor this classic bathroom while the gold walls and delicate convex sun mirror give it unusual flair.
