Gustavo’s Amadeus
August 15, 2011

Gustavo’s Amadeus is a collaborative project based off of an original image that Nicaraguan artist, Gustavo Meza, has generated since he was a boy.  The name Amadeus means “Lover of God.”  The design was entirely Gustavo’s and it’s mythological background appears also to be entirely his own creation.  This piece is composed of mostly crockery, ceramic, and porcelain tesserae.  The final product has a glass top and tiled edges and sits in Rachel’s Cafe in downtown Bloomington, IN.
